Almdudler Fair Stand (concept)
In 2023 I have received a request to create a high-end fair stand for the Austrian brand Almdudler. The request was very exciting because it had no limits, no guidelines and presented the challenge of reintroducing the brand in a modern, state-of-the-art way. I have generated multiple proposals, each of which featured a different approach. The main approach was isolate an element of traditional Austrian architecture and integrate it as a part of modern furniture. Such elements were the curvy, patterned wooden railings (but mixed and matched in a decorative collage), the characteristic wooden chairs (combined with metal feet), as well as the love for reclaimed, weathered wood. All of these elements were combined with metal details or resin, modern lights and Almdudler’s red colour. In one of the versions, there was a minimal, almost brutal approach influenced by modernistic illustrations. In the process, it was important to understand the significance of the Almdudler brand for the Austrian audience, as well as create an innovate frame in which the brand will want to be seen. The execution of the actual version has been halted for multiple reasons.
