Aperol Backbar @ Carolaro Bros 2.0

€0.00

In the fall of 2023, the Casolaro Bros, owners of a successful italian restaurant in Vienna, requested a design for a backbar in their new location in the 3rd District. The backbar should be a collaboration of the Casolaro Brothers with the Aperol brand, a branded functional shelf system which both serves their storage needs (over 200 glasses) and showcases Aperol bottles.

Main elements of the design were the characteristic orange and white colours of the Aperol Brand as well as an intricate lighting system. The lighting system consisted of diagonal light for shelf bottle illumination, upright lighting for glasses and lightboxes for 2 bottle vitrines. Naturally, everything had to be adjusted to the available space, an old backwall with a niche, as well as make appropriate space for the machinery under the shelf system.

The project was initiated and finished in a timeframe of 3 weeks, including multiple design iterations and corrections.
