Aperol Lounge @ Mánes Terrace in Prague 2023

€0.00

The Aperol Spritz Terrace at Art Restaurant Mánes in Praque, Czech Republic was a project with a goal of transforming a terrace of 2 levels into an Aperol Spritz experience. The branded terrace opened in the beginning of May and will receive visitors until the end of the summer.

The upper terrace is well visible from across the Vltava river and from the bridge, while the building is considered a historical landmark. This fact meant that every installation should be easily removable and without altering the facade. Another challenge was the fact that all furniture should be transferred through an 80cm wide door, which led into the development of modular parts.

A series of custom furniture was developed specifically for this project, which eventually became brand elements and was used in a variety of other projects. Through multiple iterations, the floor plan was decided with the goals of easier service, flexible functions (for example shadow needs or DJ nights) and creating cozy, yet open social interactions.

My role in the project started from the first visit of measuring up the space, to the accurate depiction of detailed corners inside and out, to the furniture layout, to detailed industrial design of each element. Finally, I coordinated as part of a team the timing of the purchases and execution.
