Aperol Modular Seating
The goal of this project was to produce a series of furniture that would reflect on the brand guidelines of Aperol and still be flexible enough to be reused in different occasions and events.
Aperol stands for joy and coming together and the challenge was to make a playful set of furniture that reflects this attitude. The bench system "comes together" in endless compositions and happy colour combinations, much like a puzzle set. While developing the system with this intention, premium minimalism was kept as an aesthetic goal for the end result. The forms are simplified and refined to charming, bold shapes, without redundant details. The textures and materials are smooth and classic.
The base structure is made of alluminium, while the cushion is specially ordered for longer outdoor usage. Every module has draining holes for the rain and the plant modules have additional holes to keep the soil healthy. The seating elements are made out of 2 parts a top and bottom which can be recombined in different combinations for another occasion.
