Aperol Spritz Piazza @ FilmFestival 2023, Rathausplatz Wien

Aperol Spritz Piazza at the summer FilmFestival, taking place at Rathausplatz has been a consistent part of the event since a few years. This year the challenge was to reapproach it with a fresh perspective matching the renewed brand experience guidelines.

Firstly, the location is very central and it was important to optimize the visitor flow. In coordination with the company providing the floor construction, one extra entrance was added to allow visitors who only pick up their drinks to move through. Additionally, the focus was placed on separating the space in different zones and creating different seating possibilities (benches, tables, urban lounge, high tables) without losing the uniform design language. And of course, placing a variety of photo opportunities and eye-catching elements baring the branding graphics was key to the success and media circulation of the space.

My role in this project ranged from producing a variety of design versions and fine-tuning all the incoming ideas from the stakeholders. Additionally, I took over the project and production management from contacting the producers to maintaining the accuracy of the execution until the official handover.
